Practicing Creativity

We have a Creative Challenge coming up, from August 26th-30th! The theme will be “practicing creativity”, with lighthearted prompts that help us use creativity as a way to connect with Jesus. There won’t be longer devotionals with the prompts this time— just something small to jump start your own special moments with Him.

Creativity isn’t just for a professional artist, it is a gift God has given all of us to help connect our heads to our hearts and fill our relationship with Him with color and vibrancy. The creative act isn’t always about the finished product. It has much more to do with the process and what is formed inside of us as we use our hands to express worship in this way.

How it works:

Each of the 4 mornings, I will send out a prompt for you to do at your own pace and timing throughout the day. There will also be an optional group chat for all of the participants throughout the week to share their experiences.

At the end, we’ll gather for an optional video call to share with each other about what we gleaned from the challenge. We will have a call at 2pm CST and 7:30pm CST on August 30th. Pick one that best works with your schedule!
